On June 4, a BMA Media Group Production Crew shot a 2-camera "Run and Gun" reality style segment for Hoppus on Music (Mark Hoppus is the lead singer of Blink 182). The segment hosted by Julian McCullough (the comedian on the Bonnaroo Buzz Tour), was shot behind the scenes at the Cleveland House of Blues for a look at life on the road as a comedian touring with Grace Potter and The Nocturnals.
According to BMA Media Group Producer Lee Sechrist, "This exciting project became ever more thrilling due to the tremendous attitudes of our clients at Fuse and the accommodating crew at the House of Blues as well as the artists involved in the shoot." Grace Potter invited the crew into her tour bus to shoot a cooking segment with Julian. Grace, who has a passion for food and cooking, wanted to give the audience a look at food preparation in the close quarters of a tour bus (made even closer by 2 cameras, lights, an audio engineer and producer.) She whipped up a bruschetta using ingredients she took from the HOB Kitchen. The BMA crew was also able to shoot pieces of Julian's stand up act and select songs from Grace Potter and The Nocturnals' performance in addition to closing segments with the band leaving stage and heading back to the bus for the next location.
Once again, FuseTV was very thankful for our hard work over the course of a long shoot day and noted that they prefer to work with professional crews like BMA Media Group when on the road.
