BMA Works With University Hospitals in Fighting Pediatric Cancer

January 26, 2012 | Back To News

Angie Fowler Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Research Institute BrochureUniversity Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children Hospitals in Cleveland is developing plans to create a world-class clinical trials facility for Phase 1 & Phase 2 investigational cancer therapy for children, adolescents and young adults. The renowned hospital system has named  the upcoming facility Angie Fowler Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Institute. Through the RB&C Hospital's Circle of Friends fundraising group, the professional marketing talents of BMA Media Group have been enlisted to help spread the word, generate interest and gain supporters as one part of this critical endeavor.

There are currently NO pediatric Phase 1 & Phase 2 cancer research trials in Cleveland, despite having two world-class research hospitals. This leaves a serious hole in the region's ability to advance pediatric cancer care, as the lack of experimental treatments cheats young cancer patients and their families of potential help locally.

Instead, these families are forced to go to other cities to seek these treatments for their brave young sons and daughters.

University Hospitals has started a campaign to solicit investors in creating the first major experimental cancer research center of its kind in Cleveland.

Using a host of marketing tools such as this brochure, BMA Media Group is assisting the Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital - Circle of Friends in generating interest from community investors and supporters by helping to spread the campaign's very important message -- that our children deserve a commitment to experimental cancer research.
