BMA Continues Video Production Success

Recently, BMA Media Group won its 17th Telly Award for film/video production. BMA also won two Telly Awards in 2011 for the video commemorating IBEW Local 369’s 100th Anniversary.

BMA also created a video regarding prevailing wage laws for ACT (Affiliated Construction Trades) Ohio, an organization funded by union construction workers that advocates for quality, safe construction by qualified contractors and skilled craftsmen, as well as level competition to ensure the state’s tax dollars are spent properly.

ACT Ohio works to defend and protect the State of Ohio's Prevailing Wage Law, which is key to protecting Ohio's construction workers and their wages and benefits - while also protecting the state's citizens by allowing for the sustainability of a construction workforce that delivers quality projects on-time and on-budget and supports local economies.

The video carefully documents and reports on the need for Ohio's Prevailing Wage Laws, which since 1931, have protected union workers and working-class families by providing fair wages, meaningful employment and training opportunities. The Prevailing Wage video teaches viewers all the facts about the law and everything it does, allowing them to see the important rights and benefits that would be taken away by the opponents of the law that are constantly attacking it.
